Scullion’s hot hand guides Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Amy Scullion’s red-hot shooting led the Buckeyes to an 82-60 win over Tennesee-Martin Monday night at Value City Arena.

The junior guard was a perfect 6-for-6 from the field, including 5-for-5 from 3-point range, to lead five Buckeyes in double figures. Scullion also pulled down a game-high 9 rebounds.

Ohio State controlled the game from the outset, jumping out to a 31-12 with a 17-1 run in the first half, then pushed the lead to 29 points with five minutes remaining in the game.

Martina Ellerbe and Ameryst Allston each added 13 points for Ohio State (8-6) while Cait Craft and Raven Ferguson scored 12 points apiece.

The Buckeyes held the Seahawks (6-4) to 27 percent shooting for the game.
