COLUMBUS – Authorities have issued an Endangered Missing Child Advisory for a 4-year-old Marion boy taken by his mother Thursday afternoon and who may be in the Delaware area.
UPDATE: Wesley was recovered safely
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office says Wesley Clark was taken by his mother, Mary Popovich, from an address on Milburn Avenue at approximately 4:00 p.m.
“Due to circumstances related to the investigation, the Marion Police Department is concerned for Wesley’s safety,” authorities explained in the advisory.
Mary Popovich, 27, got into a vehicle of unknown description and is believed to be in the Delaware area, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said.
Wesley Clark is described as 3’10″/39 lbs. with brown hair and eyes and was last seen wearing a white shirt and black shorts.
Mary Popovich is 5’1″/123 lbs. with brown hair and green eyes.
