COLUMBUS, Ohio – Police say a 28-year-old man is behind bars, charged with a murder committed in the parking lot of an East Side strip mall two months ago.
SWAT officers arrested Jonathan Hairston shortly after 10:00 p.m. Tuesday at a duplex at 1296 Oakwood Avenue on a charge of murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Terrance Pyfrom on Sept. 13, homicide detectives said.
Officers found Pyfrom, 36, suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body in the parking lot of the Shoppes at Airpointe, 1508 N. Cassady Avenue, just before 3:15 a.m.
An arrest warrant was issued for Hairston for one the following day.
