Severe weather threat

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Wednesday could bring another round of severe weather to central Ohio, with high winds, rain and hail.

The Storm Prediction Center in Oklahoma has placed most of Ohio under a “slight risk” for severe storms into Wednesday afternoon and evening as conditions grow more humid and the high temperature climbs to about 84 degrees.

ABC6/FOX28 meteorologist Dana Turtle says large hail, damaging winds and heavy rain will be the primary threats.

The National Weather Service says the timing of the storms remains uncertain, but predicts the greatest threat will be in the afternoon and evening.
