COLUMBUS – Police have little to go on in their investigation into the death of a man found shot several times and lying on an Italian Village sidewalk.
Police say a woman going to work in the 600 block of N. 4th Street at approximately 6:26 a.m. Sunday morning found Daniel Connell lying on the sidewalk near the City Tavern, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, said Sgt. Eric Pilya.
Connell, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene, Pilya said
There is no suspect or motive information.
This is the 69th homicide of 2018 in Columbus.
