COLUMBUS – A four-year-old startup that bills itself as the “Uber of snacks” has expanded its services in Columbus, delivering more than 3,000 products in 30 minutes or less.

The on-demand convenience store delivery service goPuff, a Philadelphia-based startup popular among college students is currently operating in more than 20 markets, including Columbus, and already boasts of having Snoop Dogg and players on the Philadelphia 76ers among its customers.

The company says, because it has local facilities in every city, it can bring products directly to consumers faster and cheaper because it does not depend on other stores.

Users go to the goPuff mobile app, available on iOS and Android, or the website, type in an address and scroll through a wide range of products, including snacks, beverages, groceries, household goods, school supplies and pet supplies.

There is a $1.95 delivery charge for orders under $50.
