Snow returns for drive home

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The latest round of winter weather could make for a sloppy ride home for Columbus commuters.

ABC6/FOX28 meteorologists Bill Kelly and Dana Turtle predict snow showers will begin moving into central Ohio just after noon as temperatures climb into the lower 30’s.

About an inch of snow could fall (see below) with snow showers continuing into the evening commute, likely causing some delays.

Another half inch of snow could fall overnight with temperatures falling into the mid 20’s.

The Friday morning commute will begin with a fresh layer of snow and some icy roads. More patchy snow is in the forecast for the rest of the day and another round of snow arrives Saturday and Saturday night, with an additional inch of accumulation possible.
