COLUMBUS – Bubba Derby (3-0) and three other relievers combined to hold off the Clippers in 6-5 win at Huntington Park Wednesday night.
Bradley Zimmer fueled a Columbus rally with a three-run homer in the fourth inning and an RBI single in the eighth that cut the Sounds’ lead to one run but Hoby Milner retired the side in the ninth to send the Clippers to their sixth loss in seven games.
