DUBLIN – With the addition of Viktor Hovland and Jordan Spieth, the number of top 10-ranked golfers competing at next week’s Memorial Tournament presented by Workday to seven.
The Memorial Tournament presented by Workday is May 30–June 5 at Muirfield Village Golf Club.
Tournament officials on Wednesday announced that Spieth — winner of three majors – 2020 U.S. Open champ Bryson DeChambeau, three-time PGA Tour winner Viktor Hovland, and up-and-comer Will Zalatoris will be in the field for the 47th edition of the tournament, which tees off next Thursday at Muirfield Village Golf Club.
The list of top 10 players in the field includes second-ranked Jon Rahm, the 2020 Memorial winner; No. 3 Cameron Smith, fourth-ranked Collin Morikawa, two-time Memorial winner and defending champ Patrick Cantlay (6), seventh-ranked Hovland, No. 8 Rory McIlroy, and ninth-ranked Spieth.
Gen20 returns
Tournament officials also announced the return of the Gen20 Ticket, available to fans 21 to 29 years of age.
Introduced in 2018, the option is available for a one-day grounds pass to the Tournament at $30 per ticket of $30 for Thursday’s first round, $50 for Friday, and $60 for rounds three and four on Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets come with two complimentary tokens redeemable for select offers at participating Bridge Park stores, bars and restaurants, as well as free parking and shuttle service from Bridge Park to the Tournament.
