COLUMBUS, Ohio – The 2015 Columbus Saint Patrick’s Day Parade will cause some street closures and delays in the downtown area at midday Tuesday.
Motorists should plan for some delays downtown between about 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and are reminded to be especially alert for pedestrian traffic near and along the parade routes.
The first part of the parade will take celebrants to St. Patrick’s Church, 280 N. Grant Avenue:
Gathers at E. Naghten Street and N. 5th Street marches east on E. Naghten St. to N. Grant Avenue, then north on N. Grant Avenue, arriving at St. Patrick’s Church at about 9:30 a.m. for the St. Patrick’s Day mass.
Part II:
From St. Patrick’s Church marchers proceed on N. Grant to E. Broad Street.
West on E. Broad Street to High Street.
Turns right onto northbound N. High Street and continues northbound to Nationwide Boulevard where it will disband for the Irish Family Reunion at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
