COLUMBUS – The state health department is reporting that it has investigated five possible cases of the coronavirus in Ohio but still says the state has no confirmed cases of the disease that has killed over 1,000 people in China.
In its twice-weekly update on the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Ohio Department of Health reports that four of the potential cases have tested negative for the disease while test results on the fifth patient have not been completed.
The number of new cases in China has dropped for a second straight day in an outbreak that has infected about 45,000 people and killed more than 1,100.
