COLUMBUS – A new, statewide helpline for survivors of sexual and relationship violence will soon be launching in Ohio.
Attorney General Mike DeWine is joining Heather Herron Murphy, manager of OhioHealth’s Sexual Assault Response Network of Central Ohio, to announce the initiative on Friday at OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital.
The network, a sexual violence intervention and prevention program serving Franklin County, is operating the helpline, which is funded with a $1.2 million grant provided by DeWine’s office.
The helpline is being announced as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
