Storm Chasers 14, Clippers 4

OMAHA – The Omaha Storm Chasers scored seven runs in the second inning and never looked back on the way to a 14-4 shellacking of the Clippers in the finale of a series at Werner Park in Omaha Sunday.

Kyle Isbel hit a three-run homer to cap the big inning off Robert Broom, who had replaced J.C. Mejia (0-3).

Nick Pratto has contributed a two-run single earlier in the inning.

Oscar Gonzalez and Gavin Collins hit solo homers for Columbus.

Scott Blewett (4-3) got the win in relief for Omaha.
