COLUMBUS – The Clippers lost to the Omaha Storm Chasers 4-2 in the opening game of a six-game home stand at Huntington Park Tuesday night.
Leading 2-1 in the eighth inning, the Storm Chasers scored two runs and Andres Nunez retired the side in the ninth, striking out the final two hitters of the game, for his sixth save of the season and preserving the win for Daniel Mengden (7-5).
