COLUMBUS – A 19-year-old man is under arrest, facing murder charges in a double slaying in the Mount Vernon neighborhood last week.
Two arrest warrants were filed for the Arrest of Omarion King on murder charges in connection with the shooting deaths of Eugene Daniels III and Cameron Jordan in the 1300 block of Atcheson Street on Oct. 4, Sgt. David Shimberg of the Columbus police Homicide Unit said.
King was arrested without incident Tuesday night by Columbus SWAT officers, Shimberg said.
Officers responding to a shooting at approximately 6:20 p.m. found Daniels, 20, and Jordan, 22 suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were pronounced dead at the scene and witnesses reported seeing a man shoot the victims and run away, Shimberg said.
