COLUMBUS – Police say a suspect in a double shooting on the East Side last week should be considered armed and dangerous.

Randy Lee Joseph Hunter, Jr., has been charged with murder and felonious assault in the shooting in the 900 block of Lilley Avenue, which left Lonnie Lambert dead and his wife injured, homicide detectives said.
Nichelle Lillard told The Columbus Dispatch that an argument began Feb. 22 between Lambert, 36, and a neighbor and moved across the street where Lambert was shot, police said by a man. Lillard says she then went over to help and was shot in the leg.
Lambert later died at a hospital. Lillard was treated and released.
Hunter, 28, whose last known address was a few doors down from Lillard and Lambert’s home, is currently at large and police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
They are asking anyone who knows Hunter’s whereabouts to contact the Columbus Police Homicide Unit at 614-645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477 and not approach or try to detain him.
