COLUMBUS – The suspect in a double-shooting during a home invasion in London earlier this month is due in court after turning himself in to authorities Sunday.

Tevin Jackson, 24, surrendered to Springfield police and was in custody in the Tri-County Jail pending arraignment on a murder charge in Madison County Municipal Court, according to a post on the London police Twitter feed.
Police filed an arrest warrant against Jackson Saturday in connection with the death of William Benson, 28, during a violent home invasion on Lamplight Court on Jan. 22, according to a release posted on the city’s website.
Jackson’s alleged accomplice, Justin Coffey, also 24, was killed while attempting to rob Benson and another resident of the apartment of marijuana and cash, police said.
