Suspect sought in woman’s death

COLUMBUS – Authorities in Columbus and Delaware County are looking for a suspect in the death of a West Side woman who had been missing for five days before her body was found in a wooded area of Berlin Township Sunday morning.

Justin Eastman is wanted for the murder Donna Harris, who was reported missing on Nov. 20 and whose body was found shortly after 11:00 a.m. Sunday in a rural wooded area off of Sherman Road in Delaware County, according to Columbus police spokesman Sgt. James Fuqua and Delaware County Sheriff Russell Martin.

Eastman, 34, is believed to be driving a 2018 white Dodge Caravan with an Oklahoma license plate (IHM358), which was stolen from Enterprise car Rental in Grove City, according to posts on the Columbus Division of Police social media pages

Authorities are asking with any information to contact the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office at 740-833-2892 or 740-833-2800.

Eastman is considered armed and dangerous and is the subject of arrest warrants from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Columbus police said.

Harris was reported missing to the Columbus Division of Police, which quickly began an exhaustive search, along with Harris’ family and friends. She had last been seen in the area of the 3000 block of Clime Road and police believed that Eastman had been the last person to see her.

Detectives with the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office had not released the cause of Harris’s death early Monday due to the ongoing investigation.
