COLUMBUS, Ohio – Two men arrested in the shooting of a woman on the North Side Tuesday night are now facing murder charges after Patricia Pallenberg died just hours her wounded body was found and taken to the hospital.
Brian Hill, 45, and Terry Nichols, 46, were arrested Wednesday in connection with the shooting of Pallenberg, who was found just after 10:45 p.m. in front of a home on McGuffey Road, though investigators say it appears she was shot a few blocks away on E. Hudson Street.
Pallenberg was taken to OSU Medical Center where she died just shortly after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
Charges against Hill and Nichols were upgraded to murder.
This is the ninth homicide of 2014, detectives with the Homicide Unit said.
