Teen charged in quadruple murder

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in the shooting deaths of four people, including an 18-year-old girl, whose bodies were found in a South Linden home Saturday morning.

Columbus police say Jordyn Wade, whose address is a few blocks away from the scene of the shooting on E. Hudson St. near Cleveland Avenue, has been charged with four counts of murder and five counts of kidnapping.

The victims were identified Sunday as Michael Ballour, 41; Daniel Sharp, 36; Angela Harrison, 35, and Tyajah Nelson, 18.

Investigators still have not provided a motive for the slayings, Sgt. Dave Sicilian of the homicide unit said.

Authorities responded to a report Saturday of a female with blood on her, and officers found a teenage girl injured outside the home then discovered the four dead inside the residence, Sicilian said.

The girl was treated at Grant Medical Center and released.
