COLUMBUS – Police say a 16-year-old boy is in stable condition after being shot during an argument on the Northeast Side Wednesday afternoon.

Drequan Pounds had been arguing with other people the area of E. 10th Avenue and Rarig Avenue at approximately 4:00 p.m. when he was shot several times, Det. Steve Miller, of the Felony Assault Unit, said.
Officers located Pounds and he was taken to Grant Medical Center where he was first listed in critical condition, but his condition was later upgraded.
