COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus police aren’t saying if they know why Kiante Lee shot a 17-year-old girl in the arm twice at an East Side apartment complex, but the 18-year-old has been charge with felonious assault in the case.
Officers sent to OSU Medical Center East to check on a reported shooting victim just after 4:00 Tuesday afternoon found the girl, who told investigators that Lee pointed a handgun at her and shot her in the left hand and left upper arm at 1031 Eaton Grove.
The girl was treated for her injuries and released.
Officers found Lee at the scene and arrested him.
