COLUMBUS – Police are investigating a shooting in Franklinton Thursday afternoon that left a CPD – Shooting left a 17-year-old dead.
Shaquan Brown was gunned down while he was walking through the Southpark Apartment complex on Canonby Place at approximately 1:09 p.m., Homicide Unit Sgt. Dave Sicilian said.
He was found unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wound by officers responding to a report of a shooting and was pronounced dead at the scene, Sicilian said.
This is the 84th homicide of the year in Columbus.
