Teens, 16 and 18, shot in brawl

COLUMBUS – A fight at a teen party on the Northeast Side ended in gunfire Saturday night, leaving two teenagers injured, police said.

The fight broke out at a party at the J&R Party House, 1714 Cleveland Avenue, at 11: 13 p.m. Saturday, assault unit detective Mark Smith said.

Smith says the fight spilled outside the club and into the alley east of that location where the two groups of people involved in the fight exchanged gunfire.

Xavier Harris, 16, and Vonte Jackson, 18, were hit by gunfire and taken to area hospitals where Smith says they are expected to recover.
