COLUMBUS – Police in Dublin are releasing the security video from a break-in at an ice cream shop over the summer in hopes that someone will recognize the klutzy crook involved.
The burglary happened around 3:00 a.m. on July 16 at the Baskin Robbins at 6752 Perimeter Loop Road.
The video shows the man break the glass on the door, struggle to climb through the opening and finally fall on the floor.
The suspect got away with money from cash drawers inside the business, according to City of Dublin senior public information officer Lindsay Weisenauer.
Investigators hope the video and other surveillance images will help lead to an arrest.
Anyone who recognizes the man in the video should call Dublin Police at 614-889-1112.
