COLUMBUS – The Norfolk Tides took the rubber match of a three-game series with a 1-0 win over the Clippers Thursday afternoon at Harbor Park.
The Tides plated the only run of the contest in the 5th inning when Austin Wynns scored Michael Almanzar with an RBI single.
Josh Martin (1-3) took the loss for the Clippers, who head to Charlotte for another three-game set, continuing a stretch in which they play 13 of 17 games away from home.
