COLUMBUS – Sean Halton’s two-out RBI double in the 12th inning gave the Norfolk Tides a 5-4 win over the Clippers Thursday, completing a three-game sweep at Huntington Park
After falling behind, 4-0, the Clippers mounted a rally in the bottom of the eighth inning to tie the score. Jesus Aguilar’s 10th home run of the season – a three-run shot to left center – provided most of the offensive punch.
In the 12th, Halton doubled to left field, bringing Dariel Alvarez home from third with the winning run.
Durham comes to Columbus for three-game series starting Friday night.
