Tides rally to knot series at 2-2

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers and Tides will play the decisive Game Five of their Governor’s Cup semifinal series Monday night at Huntington Park after Norfolk evened it up with a 6-5 come-from-behind win Sunday.

Columbus took a 5-2 lead in the bottom off the 5th inning when Tyler Holt scored on a sacrifice fly to right field by Jesus Aguilar but Tyler Sturdevant gave up a two-run home run to Rey Navarro in the top of the 7th and Andy Wilkins’ two-run double to right put the Tides in front in the top of the 9th.

Oliver Drake retired the Clippers in order to end the game and notch the save. Pedro Beato got the win for Norfolk while Carlos Marmol was saddled with the loss.

Game Five is at 6:05 p.m. Monday at Huntington Park.
