NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Marcus Mariota tossed a 7-yard touchdown pass to DeMarco Murray with 36 seconds left, and the Tennessee Titans rallied to beat the Bengals 24-20 Sunday.
The Bengals lost for the third time in four games.
It was the Titans’ fourth consecutive victory, their longest winning streak for the Titans since 2009 and their best start to a season since 2008 when the Titans last reached the playoffs as the AFC’s No. 1 seed.
Linebacker Vontaze Burfict was the latest Bengals player sent to the locker room early, this time for contact with an official.
On a day where Cincinnati scratched three defensive starters before kickoff, Burfict’s ejection made it four starters out. Combined with two turnovers and 12 penalties for 84 yards, the Bengals lost to the Titans.
