Toddler killed in Southwest Side shooting

COLUMBUS – One suspect remains at large following a multiple shooting on the West Side that left a two-year-old girl dead and three adults, including one of the suspects, injured.

Police say two men opened fire in the 4600 block of Parkwick Drive just after 6:00 p.m., injuring a man, a woman and the toddler, who died later at a hospital.

Julian Bice, 28, and Jessica Stanford, 25, were both expected to survive their injuries, police said.

Norman Burke, 51, who was also wounded in the incident, was arrested a short distance away but a second suspect remains at large.

Burke has been charged with murder and two counts of felonious assault.
