COLUMBUS – The National Weather Service confirmed that three tornadoes touched down in Ohio Monday, including an EF0 that damaged some mobile homes near Orient.

The survey teams sent out Tuesday reported that the twister touched down a mile south of Harrisburg in Pickaway County at 4:03 p.m. and stayed on the ground for about two minutes with estimated maximum winds of 85 mph.

The tornado flipped two mobile homes in the Fox Lair neighborhood on their sides and lifting a roof off of a garage on the north side of Darby Creek Road and causing damage to roofs at the Pickaway Correctional Institution south of Orient before the storm likely dissipated as it entered the city of Orient.
