CINCINNATI, Ohio (AP) – Police say a body found in a vacant building is that of a Cincinnati college student who had been missing for more than a week.
Police say they believe Brogan Dulle, 21, died in a suicide. Hamilton County’s coroner ruled Dulle’s death as asphyxiation by hanging.
Police found his body late Monday after the landlord of a vacant building next to Dulle’s apartment reported a foul odor.
The discovery came after Dulle’s family and friends, police, and more than 1,000 volunteers searched for the young man and posted fliers about his disappearance.
Dulle was a sophomore studying to be a teacher at the University of Cincinnati.
Dulle’s family says in a statement that they’re devastated and that they’re trying to come to grips with his suicide.
