COLUMBUS – An unborn baby died after her mother was injured in a hit-skip crash on the Southeast Side early Saturday morning.
Roseline Keni , 36, was stopped at a traffic light in the northbound left-turn lane of S. Hamilton Road at Dundee Avenue at 12:49 a.m. when Tony Muldrow’s southbound GMC Yukon crossed the center line and hit Keni’s Honda Accord, Accident Investigation Unit Sgt. Brooke Wilson said.
Muldrow, 38, left the scene of the crash and continued southbound, turning onto I-70 eastbound before his vehicle was unable to continue and he was apprehended.
Ghislain Ngolo, 23, a passenger in Keni’s vehicle, was pregnant and was taken to Grant Medical Center where it was determined that the fetus was deceased, Wilson said.
