COLUMBUS – The owner of the Nazareth Restaurant and Deli says he thought of closing the restaurant where a man injured four people in an attack with a machete last week, but says now he may move back to Israel where he feels safe.
Hany Baransi told WBNS 10-TV he’s decided he needs to step away from his restaurant.
He says he feels guilty that, because he flew an Israeli flag in his business, that he is responsible for the injuries suffered to his customers.
Despite saying he wanted to close the Northeast Side restaurant, Baransi says it will remain open and that his wife will run it in his absence.
