E’Lorna McCallum fired a handgun at Latasha Dailey at McCallum’s Columbian Avenue home late on the night of May 23 as officers responding to a report of a woman with a gun arrived on the scene, Homicide Unit third shift supervisor Sgt. Jeff Strayer said.
Dailey, 34, was taken to Mt. Carmel West Hospital and McCallum was arrested, Strayer said
Dailey died on Saturday so Strayer says charges against McCallum will be upgraded to murder.
The investigation continues.
This is the 48th Homicide in Columbus in 2018.
