COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus police have almost nothing to work with in the city’s latest homicide.
An unidentified man was found shot to death inside the front door of a Northeast Side home Monday afternoon, detectives said.
Officers checking out a report of an unresponsive victim at 1622 E. 26th Avenue at 5:06 p.m. found the black male inside the home suffering from a gunshot wound.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have no motive or suspect. This is the 7 homicide of 2014.
