COLUMBUS – A Southeast Side man is expected to recover from gunshot wounds suffered when he brought a video game to a gunfight late Wednesday.
Officers found Eugene Walker inside a home on Brookshire Court at approximately 10:00 p.m. and, after being rushed to Grant Medical Center, Walker told officers he had been shot by a man named “Nick,” Columbus Police Assault Unit detectives said.
Walker, 26, told police that he and “Nick” got into an argument over a video inside an apartment at 4151 Vineshire Lane when “Nick” pulled out a handgun and shot Walker multiple times, investigators said.
