COLUMBUS, Ohio – Veterinarians are reminding pet owners that the Arctic cold weather can be just as deadly to animals as people.
They’re asking people to limit their pets’ time outside and keep them sheltered from the wind.
The reminder comes as central Ohio animal hospitals begin treating cats and dogs with frostbitten ears and other weather-related injuries.
