The No. 18/20 Buckeyes (5-1) fell to Syracuse (4-4), 97-91, in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
Taylor Mikesell recorded her first 20-point game, finishing with 21 points.
Jacy Sheldon led the OSU offense with 23 points while Rebeka Mikulášiková scored in double figures for the fifth-consecutive game.
Syracuse too control of the see-saw game late in the fourth quarter, taking a nine-point lead and sinking 17 free throws in the final four minutes.
