COLUMBUS (AP) – Kelsey Mitchell scored 22 points to lead No. 10 Ohio State to an 89-56 win over North Carolina A&T on Sunday.
The Buckeyes (6-3) took control with an early 15-0 run.
Ameryst Alston had 20 points, and Alexa Hart added 14 for the Buckeyes.
Kala Green scored 17 points to lead the Aggies (3-6), while Aprill McCrae had 12 and Adriana Nazaro added 10.
One Ohio State starter, one reserve and an assistant coach missed the game while serving one-game suspensions. Starting forward Shayla Cooper and reserve guard Chelsea Mitchell sat for what was termed conduct detrimental to the team, while assistant coach Mark Mitchell missed the game for what was termed a personnel issue.
Kelsey Mitchell and Chelsea Mitchell are sisters, and Mark is their father.
Redshirt freshman Makayla Waterman started in place of Cooper and had three points and five rebounds.
