COLUMBUS — The No. 14 Buckeyes ended the home portion of the regular season on a strong note, shooting 60 percent from the field to cruise to an 88-54 win over Northwestern on Wednesday night at Value City Arena.

Kelsey Mitchell led four Buckeyes (23-6, 12-3) to score in double figures with 22 points, bringing her within 19 points of takinf over third place in NCAA history.

Linnae Harper poured in 15 points of her own and Stephanie Mavunga and Sierra Calhoun scored 14 points apiece for Ohio State, which remained in first place in the Big Ten.

The Wildcats’ 54 points was the fewest points OSU has surrendered in a game this year.
