COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Buckeyes couldn’t keep up with No. 17 Maryland despite a strong start, falling to the Terrapins, 72-62, in a Big Ten game Monday night.
After taking a 42-35 lead in the first half, Ohio State turned the ball over 15 times in the second half and shot just 28 percent, allowing Maryland to erase the deficit and pull away.
Sophomore Dorka Juhasz and freshman Jacy Sheldon each scored 12 points while junior Braxtin Miller chipped-in with 11 points.
The Buckeyes will return home to host rival Michigan on Thursday (6:00 p.m./BTN) and Penn State on Sunday.
