CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Buckeyes pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 78-58 victory over Illinois Thursday night in the State Farm Center.
This was the sixth road victory for Ohio State (13-9,6-5).
Dorka Juhasz and Aaliyah Patty each finished with a team-high 13 points.
Kierstan Bell hit four of the Buckeyes’ season-high 12 three-pointers as she finished with 12 points and Jacy Sheldon finished with 11 points. Fellow freshman Rebeka Mikulasikova was the fifth Buckeye in double figures with 10 points.
Meanwhile, head coach Kevin McGuff announced Thursday that freshman guard Kaelynn Satterfield has entered the NCAA transfer portal and will leave the program.
Satterfield played in 18 games this season.
