ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Carly Santoro led three Buckeyes in double-figures with 16 points but Michigan squeezed-out a 62-58 victory Sunday afternoon.
Janai Crooms followed-up her 27-point performance the other night with 11 points while fellow freshman Dorka Juhasz scored 10 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.
The Buckeye (7-9, 3-4) defense forced the Wolverines (12-7, 3-4) to commit 16 turnovers and held Michigan to 20 points under their home scoring average but UM closed with a 13-3 run in the final five minutes to steal the victory.
The Buckeyes return home to host No. 9 Maryland this Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
