KENT – Despite a record-setting performance by Lindey Thall, Ohio State knocked off Kent State Thursday night 75-65 for its second road victory of the season.
Janai Crooms recorded the second double-double of her career for the Buckeyes (3-1) with 11 points and a career-high 11 rebounds. She also dished-out a team-high seven assists.
Freshman Rebeka Mikulasikova, filling in for the injured Dorka Juhasz, went 7-for-7 from the floor and finished with 14 points.
Thall led the Flashes with 32 points, including a school-record eight three pointers.
