COLUMBUS – A 78-73 victory Wednesday night gave the Buckeyes a season sweep of Penn State.
Ohio State (10-11, 6-6) shot 18-of-22 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter, which put the Buckeyes over the hump in a game that featured nine ties and 12 lead changes.
Carly Santoro (#10 above) led four Buckeyes in double-figures with 20 points.
Makayla Waterman bested her career-high for the second time in the last three games as she poured in 19 points.
Freshman Dorka Juhász notched her seventh double-double of the season with 14 points and a game-high 11 rebounds. Point guard Carmen Grande was the fourth Buckeye in double-figures as she posted 14 points.
The Buckeyes will host No. 16 Iowa in its annual Pink Game on Sunday (4:00 p.m./BTN).
