COLUMBUS – Police are looking for a 12-year-old girl last seen Tuesday evening in the company of a teenage boy near a library on the Hilltop.
UPDATE 3:18 p.m. 11/15: Tamyra Powell was recovered in good health and was returned to her mother.

Police took a missing-persons report late Tuesday night in the area of Midland Avenue and W. Broad Street on Tamyra Powell, who was last seen by her sisters at 6:15 p.m. at the Hilltop Metropolitan Library at Sullivant and Hague avenues, said Sgt. Dennis Fox of the Domestic Violence Unit.
Tamyra was in the company of an unknown teenage black male, police said.
Tamyra is described as 5’6″/115 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. Police say she was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, green shirt, blue jeans, and tan Ugg boots.
