COLUMBUS, Ohio – The focus of the investigation into the disappearance of a teenage Bucyrus girl has shifted to whether she had help.
Rebecca Kemper, 15, was found in a Mansfield apartment Monday afternoon, almost two weeks after she disappeared from her home.
According to Crawford County Sheriff Scott Kent, investigators got a lead that the girl had contacted an aunt through Facebook before FBI agents found her in the apartment, CrawfordCountyNow.com reported.
Kemper had been at the apartment the entire time she was missing but Kent would not comment on the identity of the individual she was with during that time or whether that person had played any role in her leaving home on Sept 23.
