Winter’s grip still tight

COLUMBUS, Ohio – March will coming roaring in like a lion in Ohio, with a storm that will bring snow and ice from late Saturday into Monday.

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect from late Saturday night until Monday afternoon for at least 6 inches of snow plus significant ice (see below).

The National Weather Service says low pressure tracking along a frontal boundary that will stall out over the Tennessee River valley sets the stage for a major winter storm with snow accumulations of at least 6 inches, plus a snow/sleet mix and ice.
