Columbus police say Takecha Christine Heath was arrested Wednesday by police in Washington, Pa., a city about 20 miles southwest of Pittsburgh, and is awaiting extradition on a murder charge in the death of Frederick Louis Massie on Sept. 21.
Massie, 48, was found by police officers responding to a report of a person struck by a vehicle in the 400 block of Warren Avenue and Homicide Unit Sgt. Jeff Strayer says investigators determine that Massie had been deliberately struck by a vehicle driven by the 36-year-old Heath.
